Off the top of my head I would say yes.

Hell yeah. He’s an ATG lightweight
Arguably the greatest.
Pettis
Melendez
Gaethje
Chandler
Aoki
Curran
Pitbull
RDA
That’s a stellar resume at lightweight.
One of the greatest/underrated lightweights ever.

Right now, definitely not.

He's coming off a TKO loss to a guy without a Wikipedia page.

He’s won belts everywhere so hmm

all time maybe

right now hes barely top 10

This is from Fight Matrix and I have no idea what the points after the rankings are based on but it gives you a good reference point of all the fighters who could be in the top 5.

I don't know who I would put in my top 5 but Alvarez (The Hellboy fight alone damn near guaranteed him a spot) would be in it.

A few of those wins are dodgy split decisions and Chandler's win over him was far more decisive than vice versa.

That ranking is so insane I don't know where to begin

The only one I thought he lost of those he listed is Chandler. The Pettis fight was close but I don't think i've ever seen someone win a fight in the UFC with their back on the cage so much and not much damage or sub attempts.

The FAQ page explains their ranking system, it's mostly based on quality of opposition. Wins over higher ranked fighters means more, losing to higher ranked fighters hurts less while losing to lower raked fighters hurts more. I think they also factor in how they win and give credit to past work in another division, but not exactly sure on the formula.

I'm a fan but how does Connor even rank after 2 fights

I think it's cause he's only fought the number 1 ranked guys at LW(Alvarez and Khabib). I agree that's a bit weird but at least it's only 24th.

At one time he was. He ko'd RDA and was UFC LW champ.

He has got too much mileage on him now.

Today- hell no. Top 10 - no. Top 15 - idk, honestly TODAY - Probably just outside 15.. apologies to Eddie supporters but just one mans opinion-

I'm an Alvarez fan, I think anything between top 15-20ish is fair. I think with him being in One now and his age I think the best ranking he could get to by becoming their champion is in the 7-15 range.

Learn how to spell Gaethje you fucking can.

Also it wasn’t RDA’s last fight at 155. Quit being a bozo.
