This is why I asked. Not because I want to speculate hard. I do imagine that it would cross his mind and I'd wonder if Dana backroom talked to DC.

He's out of the testing pool and not ranked in the official rankings. If he got back in, he'd have to spend 6 months BACK IN the testing pool, making him 60yo+. Unless the UFC makes an exception, which is possible, Cormier is retired.
