First off, I apologize for ANOTHER McGregor thread, move along if you dont care for it.

But yes or no, and why? Just really interested in both sides of the argument here.

He's more of a bully who has height and reach on others in FW.

The first time he faced someone his size and reach, it was a decision win. - Max Holloway.

And 2nd time he fought a bigger guy , he managed to avoid getting KOed , and submitted. - Nate Diaz

No, he's primarily a striker. His wrestling is oke but not great. The same for his ground game, he has skills, but not good enough to compete with the better jiu jistu fighters.

#1P4P, mendes, and dustin aren't dangerous? Lel.

He never faced a well prepared wrestler type of fighter until this day.

What does it tell you?

He hand picked easy match-up for him all the way to title shot.

It happened again with Nate Diaz, except that Nate wasn't having any of the bs.

And fanboys

Champions are going to have a following. Novak Djokovic, Tyson Fury, Christiano Ronaldo. They all have big fans and haters. I'd rather be part of the fanboy brigade myself, I haven't played near enough World of Warcraft to be accepted by the other lot.

Conor has Mike Tyson boxing strength, Gracie ground game, GSP in and out, Diaz resilience and endurance, Mirko Crocop leg and head kicks and he fights anybody at any weight class. What else is there to say? Nate got lucky.

I'll only comment on it when he faces someone that will not try to prove himself and playing his little striking game. All of them underestimate his left hand, which is all he has. I want someone to complete dominate this guy and see how he fights when the opponent is dominant and puts him in the backpedal. If he can adapt to a good grappler/better striker than he is. i'd consider him a Complete fighter. If he clearly can't deal with one thing or another, then i don't know.

Is it Conor's fault aldo pulled out?

Mendes is the best wrestler in the division. Lamas and Bermudez didn't deserve a fight with him.

Dustin isn't easy. Top 5 that was one win off a title shot and one hell of a fighter

He seems to not be very versed in skills, but surprisingly he's made it as far as he has in MMA. He's definitely done something right.
He's made it as far as he has partly because of the protection and opponent selection the UFC has afforded him.

oh yes he is

with good striking game

but with poor grappling game

the best part of his game is his touch-butt game wich no other fighter matches in the UFC
