Conor needs to move back down to defend his belt where he doesn't have to be much a of a complete fighter.

To TS: look at gregory figthing.........what do you think about his skills compared to top UFC fighters?

His ground is very good...cringe at these casuals and these facebook expert nobodies out there in comments talkin chit...but who gives a fu/ck that man is as successful as they get...anyway, his ground "game"..
Its very fluid and creative and also its not tense. I saw some ground sparring videos of him training towards RDA fight, you all always make it seem like guy has NO knowledge or 0000 ability when it coems to certain area when he loses to someone in that fashion...shi/t what the fu/ck like are these ppl serious? his ground game is very good he just got beat . things like this could happen to everyone especially going up against very skilled opponent who is very good on the ground , but dont say he got no ground game..he obviously knows the movements and fundamentals of positioning and stuff like that on the ground.

but you are right he faces smaller frame men in 145. Look at McNuggets fight against Marcus and Chad mendes lol he is so much more free and got so much more ring commander ship and so much more open with his strikes...but not against little bigger men and thats the thing its all about frame and skeleton and not how big ur muscles are or anything along those lines. You can see how crucial these things are its so interesting to me. Conor at 145 is the best out there those natural 145-155lb guys just cant hang its too much for them..now move up 10 more pounds and Conor has a problem (he still doing well though) This is so interesting how you can weight in lets say at 205 and you can be bigger obviously than ur opponent but ur weight is STILL the same... THE weight distribution, bone density, different parts of body weights, the skeleton all plays A HUGE role. Its so interesting like there is like small percent of difference between them that separates and truly trumps the win or lose situation. the EDGE is so small yet means sooo much. Daniel Cormier vs Jonny Bones 1 shows it . He couldnt take him down even slightly get him off his feet, its like Bones' structure was so towards low gravity and stuff..no expert in this but its obviously a HOOOGE part on elite level. its so crucial.

Too long I know damn what a wall of text. subconsciously rusted my jimmies

Yeah he is. But his ground game, kicking game, and striking defense need work.

It can be hard to understand that when you got that great handwork (for mma). But getting beat up by Diaz might have been enough to fire up his drive to improve.

You can't be a complete fighter without cardio. It ends up affecting every aspect of your mma game if you are unable to finish your opponent quickly so no he is not.

A complete martial artist but incomplete mixed martial artist.

Excellent hands but can't defensively grapple with elites, cardio questionable, and doesn't seem to be able to take punches well against normal sized men.

Funny question because he just got submitted.

But who is a complete martial artist, people will always have room to improve in certain areas. If there ever was one I'd say it's GSP, he was as complete as we have seen so far: great boxing, good kicks, amating wrestling, legit BJJ and - most importantly - great transitions between these aspects.

Among the current fighters Jon Jones and RDA come to mind.

No he's a money maker, Nate is actually the complete MMAist if we are talking about covering various aspects of the sport. Just comparing the two because you seem like a noob with this question and would at least know Nate Diaz since that was Conor's last fight.

Lol I seem like a noob for asking peoples opinion??

He's pretty poser with good boxing and far away from being a complete mixed martial artist, he's more martial artist than mixed martial artist.
