I am. I have lived in the capital city of Canada for most of my life. It's a government town. Lots of tourists.

The federal Liberal party is many things. Far-left is not one of them. They are kinda like the Democrats in the the US, without any real leftists in the party at all. The furthest left Liberal MPs are centre-left at most. Most are plain old corporate centrists.

In Canada the only remotely left-wing party is the (democratic socialist) NDP, and they have never formed government at a federal level. And even the NDP is mostly centre-left, especially at the leadership level.

Literally nothing the Liberal government has ever done could be described as far-left, economically.

They do occasionally pander to progressive Identity politics, but that's mostly to steal votes from the NDP and to play good cop to the bad cop Conservatives.

Lol of course not. But they are very obviously a better choice than Pierre Poilievre and the Conservatives, and due to our shitty archaic electoral system it's a choice between a Giant Douche and a Shit Sandwich.

So every time in American history a democratic candidate won, it was rigged? Or was US full of puzzy? Americans should worry about themselves, America has enough problems as it is. Let other countries worry about their own crap (& yes, Canada has TONS of problems too).
