I just have never seen the "greasing" as central to how the fight played out
and I have no idea why Nurse chose to do what he did...
I'm not defending the greasing

BJ was a very talented fighter who chose at times to fight guys bigger than himself

As much as I don't care for GSP's style, he's the best WW ever, he didn't need to grease to win that fight. He would have exhausted BJ and taken him down sooner or later, and the result would have been the same. Maybe not with BJ concussed on the stool, but a victory for Georges either way.
