Not really sure what this show is supposed to be about. The end of the 1st episode made it seem like it's about the "dark side" of super heroes, but then 4 more episodes and it's just about a kid learning about his super powers.

Seriously. DC's animated movies generally piss all over Marvel's from a great height. The awesome Into the Spider-verse being a major exception, although that was Sony, so probably shouldn't count.

That they don't give their animated movie team free reign to make the live action movies boggles my mind.

This was definitely the weakest episode of the series so far for me.
Maybe there's comic lore but I didn't see a reason for those robots to be able to go toe to toe with Invincible based on some of his previous feats (long ago as they seem after all his beatings lately). They could have sold it as he's still feeling the effects of almost dying but he seemed fine all through the episode. It didn't help that I don't really care about the non super cast (sorry William).

I assume there is some kind of reasoning behind why he got his ass kicked so easily, because even the “Nick Fury” character (I can’t remember his actual name) commented on how he couldn’t understand how those cyborgs were able to do so well against him like that.

@Dragonlordxxxxx

Episode 6 was fairly boring.

Episode 7 , well it was bloody and eventful. They are skipping a lot of the comic book material but it looks like it will make for a solid series, season should be interesting to see where they leave off at.
Episode 7 was intense. Wished I didn't know what happened in the comic books, it would have made for a much tense viewing experience.

But it was just silly that nobody tried to contact Eve through her phone before somebody suggested it late in the episode.

Yeah I think the biggest tension piece for the readers is expectations of what they cut out or leave in , and the Spin of what they use. Omni-Man vs the Reanimen was a nice bonus.

Yeah they could have called her earlier and gave some throw away line that she didn't have service at the waterfall where her and Mark were talking.

Want to like this show more but the animation is chunky and a bit shit, sound effects are loud as hell at times while dialogue is low, and there are random songs splattered through the episodes without any rhyme or reason other than they just.. are.

People need to be talking about this show not that boring Falcon and Winter Soldier.
Is it as boring as the Wandavision show? That was a waste of 1h, I dropped that quick. Marvel really need to get a handle on these shitty TV shows, if thats the case.

As for Invincible, it makes for a great binge watch tbh. I read the comics a while ago and completely forgot what happened, but I do recall something about
the dad wanting to take over the world for the viltrameits or whatever the fuck theyre called.
. Really liking the show though.

If that spoiler is where they're going that is super cliche and takes a lot of the nuance out of Omniman.
Speaking as someone with no comic knowledge.

Falcon and Winter Soldier is a potentially compelling story that is hampered by elements that are either preachy, unnecessary, or just plain bad. They tried to do too much.

It has been a long time, and I mean a long damn time since I read the comics. I could be wrong, so Im hoping someone can tell you if Im right or wrong (especially since you dont seem to care about spoilers lol).

I came in knowing that Omniman was going to be the big bad. I've enjoyed watching it so far but there doesn't seem to be that much hype behind it and episode 6 sucked a lot of momentum out.

I really have enjoyed it all so far. I binged, maybe a weekly watch would make it weaker.

Really enjoyed episode 7 aswell.

That was intense . Now poor Mark is about to find out that his dad is murderer.

With the powers that Eve has couldn't she tear apart Omniman with ease?

Wasn't expecting for them to bring back the Immortal.

Omni Man is more of an anti-hero than the big bad. He’s like Vegeta.

Atom Eve isn’t that powerful. She had trouble with those invading aliens.

She can be pretty Brutal if she was decisive. Omni-man is decades old so aside from having Superman Powers he has a lot more experience over the Earthbound heros other than the Immotal , but he just straight overpowers him.

I don't know if this series has legs, a lot of good material from the source but seems like it's not getting a lot of buzz.

Just watched episode 7.

It was awesome.

I like seeing Omni Man unleashed. Dude is vicious as fuck.

Also Walton Goggins kills it as Cecil. Dude is so under rated.

Have you seen Fatman, where Goggins plays an assassin who is hired to kill Santa(played by Mel Gibson)?
