Just watched the second episode I try the
first one but I got that one instead.

Love it, pretty bloody I think there are things
that animation can do better then live-action.

Looking forward to watch the rest of the series.

Third episode kept up the quality. Rex is such a fucking douche. I lol'd at the, "Minor in African Dance" line.

Monster Girl's situation is genuinely creepy. And so was Darkblood's conversation with Omni-Man,

Nolan, "Don't pretend you care. You just don't want to go back home".

Damien, "Maybe one day you'll find out why..."

DC does really good with the animated movies than their live action ones.
I agree. I have seen a f re w of those, a while some of the stories weren't the best, I love that they wrrw mature in nature, and the animation looked great

I hope they do the comics justice. I didn't stick to the series as it wasn't easy to get my hands on, but everything that I did read was solid.

Not impressed by the animation, it’s kinda shit.

Seriously. DC's animated movies generally piss all over Marvel's from a great height. The awesome Into the Spider-verse being a major exception, although that was Sony, so probably shouldn't count.

Idk if it’s just me but this is boring af.

Tapping out of TT because I won't see episode four until tomorrow night.

It's poorly written on a lot of levels. For one thing, the vast majority of the characters talk the same way regardless of age, background, or even being from Earth ("oh, crap!") This is actually one of the most immediate fixes of the TV show, the dialogue doesn't suck out loud because there's a team of real writers around Kirkman now. There's also the fact that almost all of the characters have the same internal logic, the same (immature, stupid, edgy) worldview. There are moments when you can tell Kirkman is legitimately trying to wax philosophical and it's just juvenile. The repetition in the way character's speak is insane. Like, if you took that to a professional editor they'd tell you you need to edit out about 66% of your dialogue in a lot of places. It's really just objectively terrible in a lot of ways.

My problem with Invincible is people pitch it like it's some Alan Moore shit just because it's aware that it's a superhero book, but it's still very much a juvenile superhero book. If you enjoy it for what it is: big, dumb, loud, entertaining superheroes? Then it's pretty cool, and I am a fan. But it's nowhere in the vicinity of a well-written story, and should never be mentioned amongst the best superhero comics ever written.
I totally agree. Its a basic kids/ teenagers Story wirh a layer of graphic violence.
Not impressed.

Whomever said the audio is bad wasn’t kidding, I just gave up and left it around a medium volume with subtitles on.

Ok this is definitely a spoiled person talking but this one episode per week shit sucks my balls.

When it comes to stuff like this, I've just realized it's best that I wait until every episode is available and then watch them. I did it with the Boys season two. If I can hold out on that, I can hold out on any show because man did I love season one of the Boys.
