I think what would be cool would be for UWW to support Combat Wrestling, given that is essentially what they are trying to do and Combat Wrestling already has an established, storied history. Or maybe just straight-up catch-wrestling.

Could be nice but I think that UWW submission development is called Grappling. This style has a strong support of Russian Wrestling federation and the ruleset is interesting for wrestlers and non wrestlers.

Greco helps freestyle and folkstyle, that's very true.

However, freestyle and folkstyle do not help greco. And since scholastic wrestling is exclusively folkstyle, it doesn't help America dominate in greco.

It's the same dynamic as with MMA and wrestling. MMA fighters all train wrestling to prepare for their fights. However, no wrestler would train MMA to prepare for a wrestling tournament.

There are too wars inside the federation with other disciplines (karate and judo). The most dangerous is freestyle vs greco coaches. There are gyms with greco and women's wrestling but not freestyle!
Wrestling needs to be developed like one discipline with different styles like other successful sports in my country, see athletic, sailing, volleyball etc.
Grappling in Italy has a very good federation and my hope is not to have easy medals but a better management and finally an independent WRESTLING federation with Freestyle wrestling , Greco roman, Women's wrestling, Beach Wrestling, Grappling and Pankration.

The institutional troubles have over 30 years of history. A national federation with (now) 3 Olympic sports and 3 different international federations is not a good choice.

You are obsessed with Chamizo LOL.

Nope, simply addressing your bs.

I’d recommended you stop desperately pushing for the other arts to become Olympic sports. It both makes you and your country look pathetic and desperate. And makes the other styles look like gimmicks used by countries scared to play with the big boys.

Let them gain legitimacy on their own..

And also. Stop being butthurt your country doesn’t have it in the school system. You can still do things to suck less
 
Another your obsession...I'm not in wrestling business so I have not problems with the lack of medals.
We have simply two different opinions. In my vision the sport of Olympic wrestling is multi style like athletics or swimming. With additional styles you can finally have the numbers to add new sponsors, practitioners and spectators.
