Infowars And Alex Jones Banned On Multiple Online Platforms

Once again this isn't government censorship. I know it has to be a deep state government psy op to silence Alex Jones and other bringers of the truth right? There is no way that his actions have led to a point where social media outlets no long want to support his views.
No. Do you see the type of shit posted on these websites every day? And you think it's a coincidence? This is step one.

What I took away from what you said, is that the government currently under the Republican control, want these companies to silence Alex Jones. If I'm wrong feel free to explain what you mean. We are talking about a guy that has basically admit that he is fake news. I thought the right hated fake news, or is it just left wing fake news that they hate.

Was there not a concerted effort from both sides of the aisle to stop “fake news”? That could be enough for affirmative encouragement the government to repress certain viewpoints and constitute state action.

And while government subsidies alone aren’t enough for state action, there could be a symbiotic relationship between FB, YT and the government through their massive sharing of data and intelligence in addition to the exorbant subsidies that would constitute state action.

It was post #110, way back on the thirdish page. I’m with you on the censorship front but I think Jones crosses a line where there’s legitimate reason to worry about even being remotely associated with spreading his rhetoric.

Maybe. To me it's a bigger issue and the ideal platform is one that stays neutral while respecting all limits permitted by law.

If he legit called for the death of someone or told people explicitly to harrass he should be banned , otherwise he should be free to speak nonsence and we will ve free to ridicule.

He is. He just can't do it on these platforms. Are Google(Youtube),Twitter, and Facebook inconsistent hypocrites? Yes. It is what it is though.

Jones ind Infowars should reach out to NRATV.

Read up on some con law and then get back.

Stop thinking this is a big government conspiracy. There is absolutely no proof of it and it's not based on any facts. It is the exact shit I'd expect an Alex Jones fan to puke up all over the internet in defense of the fraud.

What’s the conspiracy? Maybe you’re just not understanding. I’m talking about exceptions to the state action requirement for CRAs. These are arguments that could be made with a straight face that would ensure 1A protection against private individuals.

What do you want from me? Your implication is that private property isn't possible in socialism. That's only a tenet in certain radical forms of socialism, and even that is parsed between private and personal property by many socialists. He's chiding you for not understanding one of the most basic terms of grammar in the debate.

He's talking about the difference between the government garnishing the wages of its citizens (taxes), and using that to subsidize corn/soy farmers, who still build their own farms, pay their own laborers, and sell their own crop, for example, versus the government garnishing the wages of its citizens (taxes), which it uses to build the farms, employ the farmers, and then sell all the corn/soy itself.

Meanwhile, you're talking about selling a bike to your friend. Do you understand how you're out of your element, Donny?

Bro, you wanna spew bs on YouTube, go for it. Do not block other people. Free speech is the MECHANISM by which a free society functions! GTFOH! I'm not even a Jones fan but this is other worldly and terrifying beyond belief. Grow a back bone and a pair of cojones.

You want to talk about law and yet are willing to ignore the user agreement. Congratulations, some where around here I have an internet law degree to give you, hold on I'll look for it.

Those companies aren't the government, no violation of the first amendment. I guess I need two internet law degrees to hand out.

Hahahahahahahahahah we live in 1984! I can't believe this is happening. Wow. Just WOW.

I know, right?!? I can't believe I lived long enough to see conservatives hand over such power to billion dollar corporations.

But yet, here we are.

You're worried about the arbitrary punishment of people that say things you agree and/or disagree with while corporations are buying the country from around you.

You are bringing up another topic entirely. The concern in this thread is about certain powerful and influential companies silencing people who do not agree with their leftist ideology. It is not entirely unreasonable to argue that there is a leftist slant that influences the decision making of YouTube, Apple and Facebook when you consider it is almost always right-leaning content being silenced and left-leaning content being promoted. You just have look at YouTube's featured videos (which get heavily down-voted) and it is painfully obvious the agenda they are trying to push.
