It was a big fight but it wasn’t even the main event that night. It didn’t have the same steam as it would’ve had two or three years earlier. Still one of the greatest fights of all time.

but Wandy came off 2 losses in Pride, as did Chuck, they lost a lot of their aura already

then in the years to follow they lost to everyone's uncle and cousin so meh

Chuck vs. Rampage was bigger

Nice to see two legends fight, but they were both on 2-fight losing streaks. So it definitely wasn't champ vs champ.

It was an incredible fight regardless. And the way they match up I think Chuck always wins.

Titos just a bad match up for wanderlei

Wanderlei was an agressive striker who was prone to getting takendown throughout his career but he had serviceable ground game for getting back up..but against a wrestling and GNP control type fighter like.tito...just 1 takedown is all tito needed and why he won..

If this wasnt wanderleis prime for u..then when was it ?

Tito was too scared to exchange and take chances, but Wanderlei was a swarming guy and didn't really have great KO power or subs off his back.
