Just asking, but did you get the fast twitch muscle conclusion from Zahabi on Rogan's podcast? I think there could be some truth in that, but Zahabi was also talking about how Conor couldn't improve his cardio in the time frame from when the second Diaz fight was announced to the original fight night and said the same thing when it was rescheduled. I find it odd that Zahabi would say that.
Romero would be another fighter I'd say that has fast twitch muscles and his cardio has improved a lot - but he's a bit more measured and paces himself. I think in the 4th round of the Conor and Diaz fight - Conor caught Diaz with some big punches that Diaz ate well and people tend to forget Diaz didn't do a whole lot in that round.
The name of the game is evolving and I think Nurmagomedov will see Conor as no threat on the ground and he's had the guts of 2 years to work on it along with other parts of his game, so if he gets him down, he might need to be careful there.
Nurmagomedov admitted he doesn't like doing the media - what fighter does - but this is going to be on a different level and I think that those extra requests to do interviews on fight week when they're cutting weight could have an affect on Nurmagomedov and drain him.
