Honestly, I don't care too much about celebrity culture, and it's difficult for me to feel a whole lot of sympathy for people who are often disconnected from reality and the real trials and tribulations of life.

This is one of the rare instances in which I genuinely feel bad for Johnny Depp - not only did this relationship leave his career in tatters, but she was so malicious and vindictive. This video shows just how cruel Amber Heard was:

While Depp won't win his lawsuit (or even if he does, he won't get to collect the money), at least his reputation is (somewhat) restored. Amber Heard on the other hand comes across as straight up sociopath - watching her try and claim that pledging and donating are synonymous was laughable.

This situation makes me feel sorry for all the poor guys who don't have a million dollar legal team to fight unfounded allegations. Conversely, I feel sorry for all the people who are victims of actual sexual violence and abuse, but aren't believed because of nutjobs like Amber Heard.

Towards the end of cross examination they went down a line of questioning intending to show that Heard had filed for divorce and then leaked the news to TMZ, which she denied. They played a video of her at a deposition in 2016 slipping up and admitting that TMZ was notified after which she abruptly stopped speaking and literally did the home alone face having realized what she’d done.

Then they ended cross examination by bringing to the jury the fact that she’d been previously arrested for domestic violence against another partner.
