I've listened to all the 5+ hours of audio, there are things that indicate that he may have hit her at times, mostly in retaliation.

BUT, her trying to portray herself as this shy innocent victim is honestly infuriating. She probably hit Johnny much much more than he did, and repeatedly denied his attempts at de escalation. Her intense fear of abandonment is clearly on display in the tapes. And points towards a borderline personality.

Depp and his assistant both acknowledged the validity of them and said it was to placate Amber but didn’t admit to any physical contact.

There’s also him admitting to Paul Bettany that he was in a blacked out rage on the flight.

Far too many things point to him having done something to her on that flight. She doesn’t accuse him of much tbh, she said he slapped her face lightly enough to not hurt, just embarrass her and that when she got up to leave he kicked her in the back and she fell over. Again, no insane accusations, no talk of bruising, being bloodied, nothing.

But to you it’s completely implausible. Gotcha.

I'm 100% with you. I say that neither of them are innocent. I do NOT think Depp is a habitual abuser at all. However I also do not believe that he never ever touched her physically. The dude was probably wasted out of his mind many times. If he's in a blackout state of rage and has this women nagging the shit out of him or basically not leaving him alone, he's bound to snap. I think he mostly did it to protect himself or in response to her physical actions. I don't think he just got home from a movie set and was like "Where's Amber at? I need to get slap someone around for a while".

He's really slick on the stand and really liked by the public b/c he's cool and quirky. I don't think he deserved to be blackballed and treated the way he was treated by Hollywood and by the public just based on the accusations of that crazy woman Amber. In my opinion, this was the great culmination of Amber’s efforts to set Johnny up, and her friends are all complicit. It also features Amber’s testimony from the UK trial - where she exhibits WILDLY different behavior & descriptions when there isn’t a jury present. I also find Rocky’s testimony about as believable as Amber’s recent testimony.

I believe that once Amber and her friends realized that Johnny wanted out, she knew that her (and all of her friends) would be losing their meal ticket. I believe they all conspired to create this hoax so that they could continue to leech off of Johnny and live rent free, among other things. I also believe that Amber may have promised them all some money from the settlement if they cooperated, which is (partially) why essentially none of it was donated to charity. People like iO also benefited from it as he wrote articles & things playing a “hero” role, thus gaining some more publicity and fame.

I think you're projecting a bit - I am looking at this realistically. Regarding her getting all fucked up and no hard evidence. I'm speaking to all of her abuse allegations. No evidence.

About the airplane incident - Heard claimed he attacked an airline stewardess because he thought she was hitting on her. No lawsuit or arrest or even testimony? No evidence?

That's not unreasonable to want evidence of an attack on an airplane employee.

Also - just asking here - were those Stephen texts played in court? I honestly didn't see it (or missed it)
