Jon has contested everything he’s ever done wrong. The theory isn’t that far fetched.
"Wasn't me."--Jon to his momma, looking at the dirty diaper she just changed.
Jon has contested everything he’s ever done wrong. The theory isn’t that far fetched.
Really? The answer is always the same: Money.
2 main money related reasons:
1) Announcing the suspension would require a lifetime ban as Jon's 3rd strike. There's no way the public would let the NSAC agree to a 2 year suspension for Jones' 3rd strike. This would end his career, and he wouldn't make the UFC any more money.
2) The UFC wanted Jones to fight Ngannou. If Jon had actually agreed, Dana probably could have bribed USADA to reduce Jon's suspension. You could only get away with this if no one knew about the suspension in the first place.
Get outta here already , troll. No way Jone fights nGannou not on juice
Not a great idea for a public company to blatantly violate their public policies for the sole purpose or protecting a single athlete in private. And usada is a non profit on top of it.Amazes me that people still don’t get this. The UFC is not a sport - it is a company. A company that exists to maximise profits to the benefit of its owners.
It does whatever is in the best interests of the UFCs bottom line. If that means allowing a star to go years without defending a belt, or walk straight into a title shot, or not publicise drug test results - they’ll do it all.
Sorry bro, this is dumb. There’s no reason tho think this is the case. Jon publicly complained about pay and publicly shamed Dana and tried to publicly disclose their negotiations on Twitter. All stuff Dana hates. If Dana was making Jones such a giant favor, their relationship would be much better. Dana doesn’t give a fuck about Jon, he holds a grudge because he refuses to accept the Ngannou fight for the pay they want to give him. Dana hates losing in negotiations and hates fighter pay getting brought up even more. Lots of stars have been inactive for years due to this, Diaz bros, Conor, etc. All of this is public and obvious, there’s no reason for Dana to protect him or for them to even mount all that circus, for a fight that in your theory can’t even be sanctioned with a suspended fighter. Makes zero sense.
It’s all a conspiracy hurr durr…Jon knows he only has 1 or 2 fights left. He is definitely on some juice he won't be fighting for the HW Title against Gane or Ngannou without it. Who knows if he's suspended and if he's still snitching.
Jon wouldn't even fight DC at HW and he beat him twice at LHW.
I'm not on the conspiracy bandwagon, just speculating. I don't believe Jon will fight again at HW without extra help. He doesn't have the balls. It also won't matter anyway because he would then retire. It’s all a conspiracy hurr durr…
It’s dumb and irrational. They moved an event because they had one commission that didn’t need a hearing to save their main event happening in a matter of days. Nevada did. And when Nevada had their hearing they licensed him. And cmon at thinking Jones headlining cards after Dana was pissed means anything.I don't think it's dumb to think that :
- The guy who popped for PEDS two times can have popped for a third time
- The promotion that sugarcoated his cheating and moved an entire event from a state to another to still have him fight despite the disapproval of an athletic comission only because he draws $$$ can't protect him again.
- The promoter that said that "Jon Jones will never headline a card again" and that he has "totally given up on Jones" only to have him headline again 3 other times after will put his personal beef before his money interest
Explain to me what is so dumb and irrational in that.
Plus i never said it's what happened i said it's a possibility.

The only hole to that story is that Jones is a multiple time offender ...
Theres no way Jones only gets a 2 year suspension this time with his history.....
Dana White says he won't think about Jon Jones fighting until 2022. The last time Jon fought was February 2020. After that fight Jon said he was "thinking of taking 2 years off".
We all know that the UFC & USADA aren't announcing anything anymore per PED tests. My bet is that Jon Jones fights shortly after Feb. 8, 2022, which would be perfectly in line with a 2 year suspension.
And if this is true, a 2 year suspension is absolutely criminal. This would be his 3rd strike which should be a lifetime ban.
Why would they hide that info?
Again, all sanctions are reported publicly. The idea they can just serve it and not have it public is ridiculous. It's my base case.
A older guy who has sat out large chunks of his career due to suspension has decided to take a break but not retire just doesn't make sense.
My theory is a little different.
He failed a test and is in ongoing deliberations with the relevant commission to decide suspension.
Jon and the UFC are unmotivated to finalise this until his suspension has already been served.
This ties Jon's and the UFCs interests as they both want him to fight again and have as little discussion of his terrible PED record in public. Much better to only announce once his next fight is imminent.
Further they can use him for promotion in the interim.
Then why have a policy to report all sanctions?Ridiculous question.
Why wouldn't they is the only viable question.
It hurts the reputation of the UFC to divulge that.
Well you're a fucking retard. He failed almost all his takedowns in rounds 1-3 and when he did get one, Reyes got up immediately. That score zero points.
Reyes clearly outstruck him which negates pressure.
And "champion" isn't even a scoring criteria. Retards should go die of cancer.
Rounds 1-3 were all Reyes, so he should have won the decision.
Then why have a policy to report all sanctions?
