The biggest loser here is the credibility of the FBI. After Mueller concludes his investigation, Trump (or Pence) should fire almost everyone involved with either investigation.

I'm seeing way too much focus being put on Trump while very little or none at all has been focused at looking with in the party, how to come together and win again.

I can't really speak much for the Dems as I was a registered GOP until very recently.

I know they were doing well on the generic ballots in polls and that's backed up by their results in NJ and VA with big house pickups along with Special Elections.

A record number of prominent GOP Congressmen aren't even running for re-election.

I think there is plenty of reason to suspect the Mueller probe of deep corruption. I certainly question the credibility of several key players in the affair. I'd support an independent investigation of his independent investigation. But it is best for everyone if it is allowed to play out imo.

I suspect that Mueller's report will be scathing and deeply critical of Trump and his campaign, much like the OIG's report here on the Midyear Exam investigation was of the FBI and also Comey's statement's on Senator Clinton. And like both of those, nothing will come of it. At most a few process crimes, but nothing substantial related to the core crimes being investigated. Seems to be the FBI's MO when it comes to politically charged cases: sharp critique but no prosecution.

My point is I feel your "point" is actually an agenda. That the goal of discrediting the FBI is ultimately just to erase the apparent corruption of 1 man from the eyes of the public. I have reason to believe this, because while this seems to be some big time news to some, those same people seem to ignore every major development in the Mueller case.
