If you could TOTALLY REMAKE one game, what would that be?

With this, I like to think they should keep the original voices. The voice acting was great. The rest just needs to be updated. The music remastered but kept the same would work as well, as the soundtracks were women of my favorites.
Yeah it really was great. Tony Jay passed away a while back, it would be hard to replace him as the Elder God.

This kind of gore is still absent even in the most modern shooters. Imagine the attention to detail in completely remade game using available graphics.

wow

I want the original Diablo remade so that it works on Windows 10.

Xenogears
Demon's Souls (very hopeful it's happening)
Diablo 2 (sounds like it's happening)
Front Mission 3
Resident Evil 4
Witcher 1 in W3 engine
Fallout 2

You can get it on GOG now, playable in Win 10

Panzer Dragoon Saga

Released on the dying days of the Saturn, fantastic game, but I only played the first out of four disks.

Also, the source code is lost.

That's one game I never got to play, and really wanted to. I tried emulating it a few years ago, but it didn't work well. I may have to dabble in Saturn emulation again and see where things are at. I recall it being a bitch to emulate.

Can i just say, this an EXTREMELY sexual list.

quake 1 give it the doom Treatment
Xenosaga

And FF3

Manhunt 1 w teh nowadays graphics.

KOTOR because I never got around to playing it. I always try to talk myself into grabbing it during sales because it's like a buck, but it's in a chunk of games that have aged really poorly in terms of visuals. I just can't bring myself to try it.

KOTOR was NEVER visually impressive, and instead relied 100% on gameplay and lore to be a great game. Pick it up on the next sale and you'll thank yourself.

Note : It does start out a bit slow, but once things get moving it really shines. KOTOR II is also a great game, and with the Restored Content Mod you'll have a solid game. Without that mod there are some quest holes and things that just don't go anywhere.

I'd love to see Crysis : Warhead come to console some day. Not sure if that would be a remake or a port, but I think it still fits in this thread.

Also, and this is kind of strange, but I'd love to see Skyward Sword remade with the same fighting system utilized in Twilight Princess. In my experience Skyward Sword was frustrating because the motion controls just weren't very accurate. In Twilight Princess it was all button pushes that made Link do all kinds of crazy acrobatics during combat, which in turn allowed you to defeat 3 Dark Nuts at a time. Skyward Sword's movements were really stale and that "Skyward Strike" only worked about 25% of the time for me. The motion controls are one of the reasons why I never gave the game a 2nd playthrough. Also, fighting the same boss umpteen times wasn't fun in Halo 5, and it's also not fun in Skyward Sword.

lol, I would love to see a Xenosaga trilogy remaster. I kept hearing rumours that it was in the works. Bandai Namco owns the IP, and they put .hack//G.U. trilogy on Steam... I never finished the third Xenosa game, disc was ruined, and emulation got glitchy when I tried to play it again.

heavy breathing...

I would say Golden Eye, but someone is trying for a new one for a 2022 release.

Rock & Roll Racing. Add more racers per race, more levels and vehicles. It doesnt need more story, and keep it an isometric racer.

And keep the music, just add more tracks. The classic rock was great.

There has to be a remake of Morrowind one of these days. I'm surprise Bethesda hasn't done it by now.

I would love to get a Chrono Trigger style dream team together to remake Secret of Evermore.

I think of all the 16-bit era SNES Square properties, that one has one of the coolest settings and atmosphere. Plus, a lot of people missed out on it originally, and you could run with the darker aspects more now, while still remaining faithful to the spirit of the original.

FF6 may have a cooler, more developed world, but I'm not fucking with a Final Fantasy game.

SD Gundam G Generation F. Most extensive G Generation ever.
