Movies If Terminator 2 is the best movie sequel according to Sherdog, what would be second best sequel of all-time?

Alien did not age poorly in comparison to Aliens. In fact, I'd argue Alien aged better.

Both aged exceptional. Comparing them never made much sense. First is the best sci fi horror movie ever and Aliens maybe the best Sci Fi action movie. Very different in style

Watching one of the modern CGI trash movies in comparison is just sad. Have watched Event HOrizon recent and it was better than every modern sci fi movie I have watched in a long time. Honestly the effects back then were more gritty and just better in general.

Regarding the List Terminator 2 has one huge flaw that it was designed very much for mass market appael which imo took a lot out of the movie. toned down violence and script. Way too much focus on the buddy aspect and Arnie as a pet. I know I am in the minority but I much prefer Terminator1. Thats an uncrompromising execution of Camerons vision. T2 is in quite some scenes a weak compromise between die hard action movie and toned down family movie with cringe jokes that annihilate the apocalyptic athmosphere several times.

Sometimes the fall off is so ridiculous it's very amusing. Like Dumb and Dumber 2.

Yeah, I never made it through them all. It's not my style, and I'm an adult. I wondered if it was just be being old and not the target market, but it seems like even the kids didn't care for them much.

I did have someone recommend to me a star wars related movie, don't remember which, don't think it was part of the sequel trilogy, but it was pretty good. I kind of "outgrew" that genre, but I think it was obviously a respectable effort and product, though don't ask me what it was called LOL.

Depends on who you ask. The usual, casual who watch movies for simply entertainment...sure. The film buffs who watch movies for all aspects... cinematography, ditecting, acting, script, sound, lighting, costume, etc. They are gonna pick GF2. That film is a masterpiece. T2 was a solid movie, dont get me wrong, but I cant give it 10/10 masterpiece status. Sorry sherdog elite. Ban me if you will.
