Dana said this fight is a must-win for both guys. Overeem just lost in devastating fashion to two guys who were not supposed to have any chance against him. Mir has 3 consecutive losses. If Reem gets destroyed again, he should be let go. If Mir loses, he should consider retirement.

if you have a big contract you either get cut or take a pay cut. veras a good example

He'll absolutely be cut if he loses. He's not a PPV draw and he's getting paid too much. He signed a PPV Main Eventer's contract for millions. The expectation was he was going to be headlining shows and other than the Brock fight, it hasn't happened.

There's a chance they would renegotiate and offer him a much lower deal but I don't think Overeem would take it. He could make more money overseas.

I agree completely. That said, I also (at the time) could not see Cro Cop losing to Mir. That fight, like this one, seemed like a terrible style match-up for Frank. I predict an Overeem victory, but would not be speechless if Frank surprised us all again.

difference there is he beat mirko in the clinch its not impossible here but its extremley unlikely we saw what happens when powerful men clinch mir when he fought carwin.

The Cro Cop that fought Mir isn't exactly the same one everyone pictured when the fight was first theorized.

Overeem still has shown he can man handle just about any HW, as he has done in his last 3 fights.

What he needs to do now is hide that chin. Glass chin or not, his chin is nothing special and all HWs pack a punch.
