GOATs don't just beat a few big-name fighters. It takes sustained dominance to be considered in that conversation
I feel like I had a stroke reading this. How stipe washed? Omfg Dc never lost to hw other then stipe n was champ too Stipe was lucky NGannou bull rushed like mad man 1st fight cuz if he was patient even that fight stipemwould got knocked tf out like 2nd fight any true nGannou fan know this
NGannou see knew how counter n strike very well watch arlovski fight flawless if he did same strategy stipe first fight stipe he be done I have NO doubts m last fight proved it stipe really didn’t do much damage wise to nGannou anyway he out wrestled h8m im surprised ref didn’t warn stand ups some points literally stipe just on top h8m lolllllll he knew if he was p7nching give nGannou room stand but if u champ u should want kill opponent not out pount
Losing a boring dec to Lewis > getting dominated + finished by Bigfoot and slept by a 40 yr old MW
The 2nd best fighter (3rd best win) on Fedors resume is Mark Hunt.
Blaydes 2x, Rozi, Reem, Cain, JDS, and Stipe is already a better resume lol
Or fans are just idiots. Ngannou has 1 championship belt, he is obviously not in the conversation. The fact that folks are considering every other champion as the potential "goat" means that there's no such thing as "goat".
Khabib and GSP retired at 32 & 33.It's hard for me to still rank Fedor as the GOAT, he was still relatively young during his 3-fight losing streak...
Aged 33: Stopped by Werdum
Aged 34: Stopped by Bigfoot
Aged 34: Stopped by Hendo
You clearly aren't a student of the sport's history if you think Hunt, at that time, was a better win than Crocop or Nog.
Lots of "GOATs" fight past their prime and have shitty losses late in their career as a result. In 2003, would anyone think a fighter like Chris Leben could beat Wanderlei? Michal Bisping and Uriah Hall beat Anderson Silva, who is definitely the MW GOAT.
We know, you cum belts that just started following the sport in the last 3 years have zero sense of historical significance; I get it.

33 is not young when you've been the #1 fighter of your division for over 6 years. Jon Jones is 34 and is probably 1 year removed from retirement.
...he's the GOAT.
Cool... so the champions aren't champions 'cause at some point they'll lose.Until he isn't.
There's no such thing as "the" GOAT because TIME is a thing.
Jones has had 14 victories in the 9 years he's been the #1 LHW.Take a look at the 7 bums between Nog 1 & 2 and make that comparison between Bones and Fedor again lol.
He crushed cans and went 3-3 the first time he fought ranked fighters consistently
Cool... so the champions aren't champions 'cause at some point they'll lose.
According to your logic the fastest man in the world Usain Bolt isn't the fastest man in the world 'cause he no longer runs at the same speed he used to, despite the fact his record still remains. Not the same thing.

That is literally the exact argument you are using.
Jones has had 14 victories in the 9 years he's been the #1 LHW.
Fedor has had 19 victories in the 7 years he was the #1 HW.
Firstly, you're calling 2 UFC champions cans.
Secondly, Fedor fought just as many ranked opponents as Jones has when they were champions. Fedor just added a few more, what were essentially, exhibition bouts that took place on New Years Eve every year for some giggles. Just ignore the NYE bouts. They don't matter. Fedor still fought an equal amount of ranked opponents as Jones despite it being a shorter time span (7 years vs 9 years).
The fastest man on the planet isn't the fastest man on the planet anymore, and hasn't been for quite some time.Nope.
Greatest of "ALL TIME" is your clue.

You're trying really hard to make this work.
No you're attempting to argue that the title that literally every sport gives to it's greatest athletes (GOAT) is meant to include the future, as though that somehow negates the concept of being capable of labeling the greatest athletes a sport has seen to it's date.I'm not trying at all. It's right there.

I'm sorry you take issue with how every sport in existence labels it's greatest athletes but nobody gives a fuck. It's the dumbest argument I've seen in a while.
You park on a driveway and drive on a parkway. It's just what the shit is called. Get over it.
