I don't think so, I really don't. Max's boxing is exceptional for MMA standards at this point. His cardio and pace is sick. Conor would be dealing with another fighter similar to Nate Diaz. In fact, I think Conor is fucked on all sides. He has Khabib and Tony waiting like slavering wolves, and Max Holloway has turned into a murderer at 145 if he wants to try to get that belt.

Even if he's not better skill for skill, his natural attributes as an athlete and his fight IQ make him a nightmare match up.

He has a granite chin, amazing cardio and he gets stronger and makes better reads and the fight progresses. That's bad news for a guy like Conor.

If Conor didn't stop or seriously hurt Holloway early, Max would get the late stoppage.

That's fine. I agree with you that McGregor would be neigh impossible to hit 145 again. It doesn't change the facts of my post Max's last loss was Conor McGregor who outclassed him at every aspect and lost his belt by moving up in weight, not from fighting at the weightclass.

Your point of Max being the better fighter is unfounded considering he lost comprehensively to McGregor whilst having more UFC experience.
