If Khabib was supposed to move up, why are you against Islam moving up?

Seems we all seem to agree my dude, but is there anyone here who disagrees, my dude, and believes TS is NOT making a whole lotta assumptions there, my dude. Maybe TS should try to make a whole lotta MORE assumptions there, my dude, or do we all agree that TS is making a whole lotta assumptions there, my dude, maybe TS should sit back and try to make a whole lotta less assumptions there, my dude

Agreed.

My dude.

Ts makes a great point, the same losers who denigrated khabib for not moving up are now crying about Islam moving up to win the belt.

Inshallah and STILL

This is my favorite ancient Chinese quote of all time.

It's said to have originated all the way back thousands of years ago during the Han Dynasty where an ancient Chinese philosopher told a fool that he was making a whole lotta assumptions there, my dude, maybe sit back and try to make a whole lotta less assumptions there, my dude.

Now that you mention it ...i think remember seeing something about this in Roman times too..i think inscribed in one of the great rooms of Emperor Nero's house was this .

"Multa principia faciens es, mi amice, forte sedens et conari facere multa principia minus, mi amice"

Yes, a very ancient chinese philosopher had a warning for the Imperial family. He wrote it on a sacred piece of paper, in case he was unable to deliver the important message of warning. Just 7 days before he was to deliver the message, he was struck by lightning. When Chinese authorities found his dead body, they opened up his jacked and inside it was a note, and it was written in Cantonese. It translated to: You're making a whole lotta assumptions there, my dude, maybe sit back and try to make a whole lotta less assumptions there, my dude."

Khabib wasn't meant to move up, but he did luck out dominating a division nearly devoid of grapplers. The Usman, Burns, Colby etc type fights were captivating and its just a backwards criticism. If you make the weight, you belong at it. Khabib was a big LW, not a huge one. Look at Ali Bagov, Sage Northcutt, he's not THAT big.

As for Islam, he needs to defend his title 3-4 times minimum before moving up. Defending your title once and asking to move up is birch made and I hate how this era is the beggar era, I don't blame Islam, I blame the UFC. Islam should beat Charles II, then probably Gaethje and then Dawson/Arman most likely, at that point he'll have 4 defenses. Leon hasn't even defended his title yet, for fucks sake, look how backlogged Belal and Shavkats shots are. Islam just needs to build his title reign and shut up for now.

Firstly, if you took Gamrot, Tsaryukyan and Beneil and put them in a time machine back to 2020 and made them fight Khabib, does anybody honestly think Khabib wouldn't absolutely demolish those guys? Lets be real.

Secondly, this idea that Khabib never fought strong grapplers is one of the biggest myths in mma. The reality is that the goal post kept moving about the grappling ability of Khabib's opponents, for at least 3 years prior to fighting Gaethje so many people were saying Gaethje's wrestling background would be his kryptonite, then when Khabib destroyed him all of a sudden Gaethje had no grappling lol. Khabib has also beaten guys like Kamal Shalorus (who made Olympic qualifications in wrestling), RDA, and Abel Trujillo (decorated college wrestler) who all had excellent grappling pedigrees. Khabib dominated them all on the ground. People just try to find ways to diminish Khabib's resume as if he had a cakewalk.

I like the fact that Islam is moving up. Just think he's gonna get smashed by anyone in the WW T5. Still wanna see it though.

Khabib was sk'eerd. All he said for 10 years was "these guys not on my level, Dana find me someone on my level"....meanwhile, all he had to do was move up a weight class and actually challenge himself. He chose not to a chose the easy road. He retired too early.

Du triffst hier sehr viele Annahmen, Digga, vielleicht solltest du dich zurücklehnen und versuchen weniger Annahmen zu treffen, Digga.

Stimmt, digga

Çok sayıda varsayımda bulunuyorsun, dostum. Belki arkana yaslanıp daha az varsayımlarda bulunabilirsin, dostum.

Haklisin, Dostum.

I don't care if Islam moves up, but honestly, and you call me old fashioned, I like it when a division champion defends his belt over & over.
