If Khabib was supposed to move up, why are you against Islam moving up?

Khabib had a way deeper resume of guys that he had beaten. He defended the belt against Conor, Dustin, and Justin, and had beat other high level and high ranked guys. Islam has not even once defended against a guy in his weight class, and his path to the title was filled with way lesser competition than Khabib had faced. Khabib was much more proven and people didn't really see him losing any time soon, so moving up would be the best way for him to challenge himself and for us to potentially see if someone could beat him. Islam is not at that stage, as there are lots of potential title challengers for him still at lightweight.

Because some people will criticize Islam regardless of what he does.

"He's a weight bully who should fight at WW!"

But then

"He's running from LW contenders for an undeserved WW title fight!"

But if he doesn't go to WW, it's

"He ducked WW his whole career to beat up smaller fighters!"

Literally nothing he can do to make some people happy. He could fight every single LW fighter on the roster and then fight every single WW fighter on the roster in a single night and they would still find reasons to criticize and hate him.

Some people just never got over watching Conor get strangled by Khabib and now they take out their hatred on Islam

Khabib didn't get a gift decision defending against a featherweight would be my guess.

Pislam, just like Kumzat, are going straight to jehannum soon

Because people will find any way possible to diminish and discredit the Dagestani fighters.
Pretty lame and sad, but that's sports fandom for ya!
