If Costa runs through Chimaev, what does that mean for the Chimaev future?

You’re making up stuff now.
Costa never fought at HW, he missed weight, it was a LHW bout.

These are facts:
Burns is a former LW and has fought at LW.
Burns got ko’d by a current LW on the roster.

Dont worry, when costa beats khamzat, you will still say costa doesnt have a win over a ranked MW on the roster
Costa was a HW and tried to weasel his way into having a huge advantage over Vettori and still got his ass kicekd.

Marvin was training for 185 while Costa was weighing 215+ and made 205 for 1 minute then was like 220 when he fought Marvin

Literally way worse than Khamzat clearly beating Burns, one of the top WWs in the world.

When Costa is sent to the prelims after Khamzat destroys him, don't come in here pretending you were anything but clueless.

I don't see either of them running through each other. Costa is too big for Khamzat to rag doll and have his way with like the most of the guys at 170. It will come down to whoever is more durable but I think Costa takes it. I know... I know.. hot take but Khamzat is very hittable and got put on skates by Burns that doesn't hit as hard as Costa. If he can connect the right shots I think Khamzat goes lights out. I also don't think Khamzat can KO Costa as Costa's chin is right up there with Vettori.
Not a hot take imo, I've said this many times before. I even put my money where my mouth is and laid $70 on Costa to win $245.

He will put him on his back like the ghost of Luke Rockhold did, but actually finish the job. We’ve seen Costa quit in fights before.

How many wins has Canfat over current ranked middleweights or former champions?

At this point we have two inactive fighters and both their resumes suck.

If we go by Poatan fan criteria, Khamzat is 1-0 against Jack Hermansson lol

Theres a lot of black belts in the ufc. That doesnt make them great mma grapplers. Whats that say about a BJJ black belt when you get taken down and submitted in under 4 minutes? Also, size matters.

Top 5 MWs didn’t come close to finishing Holland Khamzat did it in 90 seconds

LOL are Khamzat fans really up on their soapbox talking about weight bullies? The fuck?!

There are a lot of black belts in the UFC and Paulo is one of them.

With exactly zero fights for either guy in over a year I can't make any serious prediction about how this goes down. Khamzat's last two fights were certainly impressive in some ways, in others not so much. Costa's last two fights were against a guy now 2-3 in his last five and another guy 1-4 in his last five. Not exactly impressive. If I'm betting, probably picking Khamzat. With that said I hope Costa punts Khamzat back to Sweden.

Costa weighed in at 205, but u say costa weighed 215 but still say vettori was 185 when he was probably closer to 205. Little dishonest there.

Khamzat has never faced anyone as close to dangerous as yoel romero. And costa walked him down and beat him.

Im not the one who brought up belts.

costa outgrappled luke rockhold, one of the strongest grapplers at MW. Who has khamzat outgrappled, kung fu kevin holland?

costa fought a 41 year old washed Yoel and arguably lost lol

Watch the fight again. I give Costa a lot of more credit in that fight than people on this forum but it was not a grappling clinic.

This is one of the more balanced breakdowns I have seen for this fight. Costa is way to big and strong for Khamzat to simply bully his way to a takedown and control on the ground, and on the feet he should have the advantage, very aggressive, hard hitting with an iron chin. Khamzat is still very dangerous though, if he can manage to take Costa down early, when they are still fairly dry, he's super dangerous, especially taking the back, super tricky set ups with D'arce chokes as well, man I hope this fight comes through, it's going to be a close one.

MMA fans in general has to be the dumbest fan base in the world, bashing a guy like Costa saying "WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME HE RAN TROUGH SOMEBODY", while sucking on their small thumbs.....hey dummies, once you start fighting the top guys, it's very rare that you just run through somebody, even guys like Jones have had a lot of close fights in his career. As soon as Khamzat fought a legit top5 guy in Burns, there was no just running through, the other guy across the cage is going to have the skill and knowledge, as well as the strength and conditioning to negate that from happening. People can still be finished of course, but it's rare for a top guy to just run through another top guy.
