Exactly this. Khamzat has fought more recently than Costa but it’s Khamzat’s inactivity that everyone complains about. Costa hasn’t fought since August of 2022 and hasn’t fought more than once in a calendar year since 2017 but he gets a pass because he’s a menace on Twitter

I don't see either of them running through each other. Costa is too big for Khamzat to rag doll and have his way with like the most of the guys at 170. It will come down to whoever is more durable but I think Costa takes it. I know... I know.. hot take but Khamzat is very hittable and got put on skates by Burns that doesn't hit as hard as Costa. If he can connect the right shots I think Khamzat goes lights out. I also don't think Khamzat can KO Costa as Costa's chin is right up there with Vettori.

I just don't get it. I don't know if his management or UFC causing the negotiation problems, but if someone been more willing to negotiate, he could have 4 more wins and be knocking on a title shot by now.
