If Costa runs through Chimaev, what does that mean for the Chimaev future?

If Costa beats him, Khamzat was never good to begin with and is a can, don’t you even Sherdog? It’s standard Shertard procedure after a loss.
 
It would mean he will likely have to fight a couple more fights at 185 before getting a TS.

I think that would be a big hit to his career, and open the door for a lot of negativity tbh.

And who has khamzat beat, no grappling leech and holland? Lol.

And he struggle vs a former LW burns. Costa would erase burns in a round, way too big. Khamzat won’t have a size or power advantage over costa like he did in all his other fights fights.

First, he'll blame an injury. Then his manager will offer other excuses. Khamzat will likely post another emotional retirement from MMA on social media. He will eventually come back to fight at welterweight, but only in Abu Dhabi, where the scale can be "fixed" for him again if need be.
 
As much as I love Khamzat, and everybody who follows SD knows I do, he still is from a region of the world where fighters who lost once or twice throw away their motivation in fear of more "humiliating" losses! I know its crazy to think that way as a fighter, but despites their theoretical fighting spirit they aren't really fighters deep inside because of a weak body structure, most probably from lack of fresh blood in their communities, and also weak minds, guess for the same reasons. Only good hammers but cannot take the pressure of a nail, which you need to do if you want to be elite.

So, if he gets humiliated it might just be the beginning of the end... I hope not, I really do, but we have to look at the facts!

You guys gotta stop using the LW thing when HW Costa got his ass kicked by MW Vettori. No matter how you slice it, rhats worse.

Costa's total of 0 wins over ufc rostered fighters lol.

Don't worry, when khamzat beats Costa's ass, you'll have some excuse or some bullshit hindsight comment. No doubt about it

Primed up Costa couldn't even put away fat, completely shot, never win a fight again WW Johnny Hendicks in 1 round.

Theres a lot of black belts in the ufc. That doesnt make them great mma grapplers. Whats that say about a BJJ black belt when you get taken down and submitted in under 4 minutes? Also, size matters.
 
Why anyone gives af about these two is beyond me.

Costa's fought once a year since like '17 or before. Chimaev claims to be a MMA fighter but hasn't been in a cage for a year now. Yall complain about inactive champs, either of these two get near a belt there will be more interim fights than actual title fights until they're stripped.

You’re making up stuff now.
Costa never fought at HW, he missed weight, it was a LHW bout.

These are facts:
Burns is a former LW and has fought at LW.
Burns got ko’d by a current LW on the roster.

Dont worry, when costa beats khamzat, you will still say costa doesnt have a win over a ranked MW on the roster
