For me a KO is more humiliating than choosing to tap out but not losing your consciousness.

For me the order of least to most humiliating ways to lose are:
Split decision loss < Majority decision loss < Unanimous decision < Subbed < TKO < KO < KO (and shit your pants).

Getting subbed is just as bad. Means you couldn't handle your opponent anymore and you just want out.
 
Conor would retire. His whole thing is about being the "best" and being champ and making money. Who would want to see a guy that's 1-2 and being finished in both? Conor has already been rocked once by Nate so it will only get worse as his career continues. It's always possible now.

it can happen, because its MMA..

but if we're talking about what should happen -- Eddie's boxing is very sloppy, it is unlikely he'll get a clean enough shot off on McGregor to KTFO him..

but like I said, anything can happen, I'm just saying if we're speaking about what SHOULD happen & what makes sense -- Eddie starching Connie just doesn't seem very likely, his sloppy winging punches from the hips style shouldn't work with Conor lol
 
if he gets KOd i can just see his haters and those who hate his fans laughing their asses off and having a field day with the trolling, i for one will enjoy that kind of entertainment, i mean it's funny to see the haters getting butthurt when he wins too, but it's even funnier seeing people break down because their idol broke hahaha

Eddie gets dropped quite a bit from what I remember. He just recovers really fast similar to how Wanderlei used to in PRIDE. You could actually drop Wanderlei but his recovery from a good shot was insane back then. I could see Conor winning since all fights start off standing. However I'd say the safe bet is Eddie.

Aldo had defended his UFC title seven times and his WEC belt twice. There's a bit of a difference between him getting flash KOed than a guy who's 1-2 (this scenario assumes he gets KOed by Alvarez remember) with zero title defenses
