For me a KO is more humiliating than choosing to tap out but not losing your consciousness.

For me the order of least to most humiliating ways to lose are:
Split decision loss < Majority decision loss < Unanimous decision < Subbed < TKO < KO < KO (and shit your pants).

Conor would retire. His whole thing is about being the "best" and being champ and making money. Who would want to see a guy that's 1-2 and being finished in both? Conor has already been rocked once by Nate so it will only get worse as his career continues. It's always possible now.

it can happen, because its MMA..

but if we're talking about what should happen -- Eddie's boxing is very sloppy, it is unlikely he'll get a clean enough shot off on McGregor to KTFO him..

but like I said, anything can happen, I'm just saying if we're speaking about what SHOULD happen & what makes sense -- Eddie starching Connie just doesn't seem very likely, his sloppy winging punches from the hips style shouldn't work with Conor lol

If Conor was to take out Alvarez it would pretty much validate all the hype around Conor. And even someone who is skeptical of the Conor hype, as myself, would have to concede that Conor's abilities are up there with the best. However based on Conor's performances against Diaz, i'm willing to put good $ on Eddie. Eddie is a proven commodity at 155. His chin has been battle tested in many wars, where as Conor at 155 is shaky at best. I agree that Conor beat Nate on points, but even then he barely scraped by the #5 155lber. I look forward to this fight AND I look forward to Conor moving back down to rematch the TRUE145lb champion, who is possibly one of the greatest UFC Champions of all time. Aldo does not get enough credit for his accomplishments and I want to B*tch slap all the Conor Nuthuggers out there who dismiss Aldo's accomplishments.

Eddie gets dropped quite a bit from what I remember. He just recovers really fast similar to how Wanderlei used to in PRIDE. You could actually drop Wanderlei but his recovery from a good shot was insane back then. I could see Conor winning since all fights start off standing. However I'd say the safe bet is Eddie.

Aldo had defended his UFC title seven times and his WEC belt twice. There's a bit of a difference between him getting flash KOed than a guy who's 1-2 (this scenario assumes he gets KOed by Alvarez remember) with zero title defenses
