Not just the fact that Jones beat him in less than 4 minutes but also that Ngannou 50-45'd him with no legs laughably easily. It seems Dana and the UFC want to push the narrative that Gane is the next HW champion not realizing that at the very least makes the UFC the B organization and makes Ngannou's shadow loom over the division. The only plus side of it being that Alex Pereira has an easy path to triple champ status with Ciryl as champion and would likely be heaving favored to beat him.
