Sure but the thing is he won't beat both of them. I hope I'm wrong though.
Very well put, doesn't mean Khabib isn't amazing, but all of that obviously plays a factor when you're comparing his career to others. And then these dudes legitimately believe his lack of activity was not by design (even though Islam did the exact same thing) but it was because everyone was ducking him and I've even seen conspiracy theories that the UFC was trying to bury him lol.Khabib has a very mediocre strength of schedule. The combined records of his first dozen fights are all atrocious. Do Bronx spent nearly his entire career in the UFC, its a whole different thing.
Then of course you get into Khabib being one of the most inactive ranked lightweights of all time, certainly of his generation. Take his total number of UFC fights and divide it by the number of years he was in the UFC. Dude never fought.
I think TS is accurate in saying Do Bronx would have the most impressive strength of schedule as champion if he beats JG and Islam. I can't see how that would even be up for dispute.
Khabib is more dominant but his first 15 fights were notoriously weak.
If they have the same top wins, then its pretty similar because even though Oliveira has losses, his first fights were a lot stronger.
hypothetical-fantasy-mmamath is saying "Khabib would've had 8 losses fighting the fighters Oliveira has lost to" in an obvious reaching to explain why Oliveira's losses don't count
Khabib was doing two, three of those fights per night.
His resume is already as good as Khabibs. If he beats Gaethje, wins over Ferguson, Chandler, Poirier, and Gaethje, all consecutively >>>>> Khabibs resume
Khabibs UFC career is 13 fights over the course of 8 yearsMy post said "UFC Career." LMAO ya'll suck.
Easily.And that’s a fact Jack.
He has some tough opponents ahead of him.
But two fights to being the greatest LW champion of all time.
Charles was fighting UFC title contenders when Khabib was crushing cans in the D league.
They're the same age and Charles has over twice as many ufc fights.
If Islam beats those guys, especially Charles, he will have done what Khabib never did- defeat a top-level, truly tough stylistic matchup. Charles represents a unique threat to their style because of his strengths and offensive arsenal both standing and on the ground.I do think Khabib beats Islam head to head just by being way bigger human being and more aggressive, but Khabib has a thin resume.
If Islam beats Oliveira and Dariush, then I say he has done more than Khabib as is.
I think he beat Tibau, but was a close fight.
He faced enough good guys to show the level. Poirier, Conor, Gaethje, RDA, Barboza had basically no chance in those fights. If they don't have the next 2 likely won't as well. The dominance.
No, Khabib has no losses. Charles has a lot of them. The dominance counts. Charles would need to go on some run.
He would have to go back and time and not lose 8 times to ever surpass Khabib. He's lost 4 times more fights than Khabib has lost rounds.
and he loses to Justin and Islam.
how many fighters went 13 - 0 in UFC while being undefeatedNo.
That's just stupid and nobody said that.
RDA was a great win.
Khabib never lost because he only fought 13 times in the big leagues and only in 3 legit title fights.
