If Brock can somehow beat Hunt it will be his first fight without an asterisk next to it

Place your asterisks on as many fights as you choose

Seriously, in my books all of Brock's wins have an asterisk next to them as a lucky circumstance was always in his favour. He crumbled against Cain and Reem and they were 100%. If he managed to beat either Cain or Reem he wouldn't get an asterisk. If he beats Hunt (yeah fucking right) then he won't get an asterisk cause Hunt is training his ass off and is in perfect shape with no excuses.

Observe:

Defeated Min-Soo Kim

*First MMA fight in no name org and Min-Soo Kim is nobody and he layed on him the whole time until Min-Soo Kim got uncomfortable

---

Defeated Heath Herring

*Heath Herring was war torn and damaged and this was his retirement fight

----

Defeated Randy Couture

*Randy was too old for this and waaaay past his prime

-----

Defeated Frank Mir II

*Frank was overly emotional and his head wasn't in the game, this caused him to be sloppy in the cage and throw that silly knee

-----

Defeated Shane Carwin

*Shane Carwin punched himself out and the ref led him on like my high school girlfriend with no intention of getting to a finish

Nope. You don't get to give out the asterisks.

Later.

*You are working too hard to discredit Brock.

I place no asterisks, all his wins were against opponents that were 100% on their game

His win over Frank Mir was legit and it's not his fault Shane Carwin was an idiot.

Oh comeone now.

Herring was a legit beating of a dangerous man.

Randy regardless of how old was the hw champ.....

Mir 2 was once again a beating of a dangerous man.

Carwin did it to himself as we have seen others do many times. It does not make it any different than everyone praising magny for the lombard win.

Let's just suppose all of the things you listed are true. This still doesn't change the fact all of the above mentioned professional fighters were defeated by a part time fighter in Brock. Props to him for accomplishing such a feat.

You're fucking idiot, and I HATE Brock.

People give him TOO much credit so someone has to balance out the universe.
Yeah, no. Brock historically has only ever been undervalued, except for the fringe fans that tout him as the 'greatest-ever'. They're batshit too.

Brock's been in pro wrestling for years, he's probably aged his body as much as anyone you mentioned at the time that he fought them.

Brock retired Herring.
Couture was the champ.
Mir just finished Nog for the 1st time
Carwin was undefeated with all of his wins coming in the 1st rd.

Go back to Mayberry, Clippy.

Weird poll. I don't place asterisks based on whether or not opponents are 100%. Fighters will often not be 100% and we the fans won't even know it.

I think asterisks are either for highly anomalous/fluky wins or for wins tainted by some sort of controversy in the rules.

The only one the fulfulls either of those criteria is Shane Carwin. I think he beats Brock most of the time. I think the fight would get stopped in the 1st by most refs.

The funniest, most delusional one is "Randy was too old, past his prime," when he had just regained and defended the heavyweight belt.

I don't understand the Mir one. I don't think an excuse can come after a fight. I get like Randy was way past his prime going in to their fight but Mir was a legit top HW. The logic on that one could discredit any win. You could say Jones has an asterisk next to his DC win cause DC was emotional. Doesn't work like that imo.

But I typically like your posts and I don't like Brock so I'll allow it. :p

He won and lost them all fair and square. Every enters the cage with SOMETHING
