you're right that it's an unlikely method of victory on paper but I can see it happening if ank checks the leg kicks or has a counter to them. Since ank is southpaw he has a left hand counter to pereira's inside leg kick, and alex's outside leg kick with the lead leg against a southpaw is not as effective since you can't generate as much power. I think if he can mitigate the damage from the leg kicks then he can outbox alex with educated pressure similar to izzy and strickland, maybe I'm overrating ank's striking though

pereira doesn't get tired after three rounds? he was passing out on his feet in his first match with adesanya, and a lot of that was because adesanya was taking him down just for fun. he's got glaring weaknesses.

Adesanya wasnt taking him down for fun. He reverted a bad td attempt by Alex and took him down. Alex went full gas Round 5 and finished Izzy. Alex also increased his pace R4 and finished Rountree.

His other fights (Jiri 2x, Hill) were early finishes.

I dont know what you talking about about Alex gassing Round3. Jan fight, his first LHW and in the altitude? He was pounding on Jan before he was taken down. I bet if we had a 4th round that fight Alex would have finished Jan.
