I think he should have a title eliminator first. But I see why the UFC wants to push him to the head of the line. Putting him in a title eliminator first would put him at risk of losing, thus lose the opportunity of the next big (aka marketable) UFC event. They know McGregor will be able to sell the fuck out of the fight, and making it a title fight makes it that much better.

I like how Zombie got the title shot with less credentials and everybody on here was cumming themselves about the entertainment value of the fight but Conor gets the same shot with practically the exact same achievements and the butthurt brigade are out in full force, and no I dont give a shit if Zombie was a replacement or not, he got a title shot and there wasn't 1/4 the amount of butthurt on here about it as there is for Conor.

If you don't like the guy that's cool but save the faux outrage when the precedent has already been set in the exact same divison and Chris fucking Cariaso just fought for a title last weekend...
