10 years ago he might have been a good choice, but he's nearly the same age as Daniel Craig and since it would take a few years to get a new reboot off the ground, he'd be pushing 50 by the time he could take over the role.

Also, if they are casting a black guy or a woman, it has to be just right - this would risk coming off as a bad pc gimmick if the movie isn't great.
