Social ICE/deportation protests and riots megathread

I know you're not capable of seeing it for yourself, but just for what it's worth, you're a truly ugly human being lol
God forbid we feed kids. God forbid.
Also, just another heads up, virtue signalling your awfulness is no barrier to being picked up by ICE if they randomly feel like it. So, ya know, keep that in mind.

I don't care what you think. What I'm saying is factually correct. I'm not the one constantly lying or being completely misinformed.

It's got nothing to do with being factually correct, which i've rarely seen you be anyway, and even in those cases you're pathologically allergic to anything remotely resembling effective contextualization. The real issue here is values driven. That is, you mostly don't have them, and are fueled by this marrow deep need to virtue signal upward. It's a kind of negative self definition. It's as though the uglier you act, the more comfortable your own sort of social position becomes. What i'm saying here is that your "concerns" are completely disingenuous, and driven by contempt (and the fantasy of being folded into mainstream power entitlement).

What have I just said that is not factually correct?

As for my values, it's pretty simple - stop illegal immigration and deport everyone with final orders of deportation. There are 1.6 million people in this country with final orders of deportation and 650,000 with criminal records. Actually enforce the laws we have on our books.

What you're proposing is completely open borders and not enforcing immigration laws.

Case in point, I never said anything about open borders. But that's a great maneuver to pull out of your ass if you want to jake someone else act defensive

If you don't want to deport people with final orders of deportation, that's an open border.

What am I factually incorrect about?

Yes people have been picked up at immigration hearings. No they are not completely innocent or have legal status.
340,000 people were deported last year, and by DHS’ own numbers 73% had no criminal record at all. That’s roughly 248,000 people. If even 5% of those were folks who were following the legal process and got nabbed anyways that’s still 12,000 people. Given that these people aren’t breaking laws while here I’d wager it’s a lot more than 5% who are getting picked up during check ins and court appearances and following the rules.
What they fail to mention is that most have FINAL ORDERS of deportation,
I’d love a source on this I can’t find any numbers to support this claim.
, the government told them to check in every 6 months, a year, every 3 years, etc.
And they were doing so. This sounds like compliance to what the federal government is asking of them.
The vast majority of these illegals are a net negative financially speaking.

Most of them do not make that much money and get exploited as cheap labor. These do have social security and Medicaid taxes automatically taken out, but it's a small amount due to low pay. A huge chunk work off the books.
You’re forgetting about sales tax on any and all goods they purchase, tax on gasoline they use for their pick up trucks (Tbf there’s 6 dudes riding in the back on the way to the job site so they are gaming this one). Regardless I’d argue contributing to the economy by providing employees to businesses and labor for farms in this way helps offset their economic value. As best I can find It’s estimated illegal immigrants paid between 115-132 billions dollars in taxes in 2025.
But they have kids here who all qualify for food stamps, Medicaid, schooling and housing assistance. Not to mention extra language costs for kids who were brought as illegals.
Those kids are estimated to cost the federal government 20-35 billion in aid programs.

A lot of people who were deported had final orders of deportation, but no criminal record. Are you suggesting we can't deport people with final orders of deportation?

I’d love a source on this I can’t find any numbers to support this claim.

There have been many articles by this point describing what is happening.

NY Times: Anatomy of an ICE Arrest

Yea they're complying as the government is deciding whether they can stay or not. The government has essentially "decided" they will not get residence in the country.

Sales tax is a tiny pittance compared to all the social services they consume.

Let's say those who were caught attending hearings for their status is what? 20%? That's still a ton of illegals. They're saving money in the long run.

Why are we attributing the costs of American citizens to immigrants?

Never mind that your shitty source believes Minnesota has no taxes.

I’m saying we can, but we shouldn’t.
I think we were promised they were deporting the worst of the worst. Violent criminals, murderers, rapists, people from insane asylums (lol) and that this job was so dangerous we needed a faux military response to keep the federal agents safe.

It seems to me ice is deporting people giving back to the system and their communities by working and not breaking laws to meet their quotas (8 arrests a day to get that bonus). They are going after low hanging fruit. If someone has been in the country for years and they haven’t committed a single crime, they have built a life and participating in society and the economy, working jobs, paying taxes- why not provide a pathway for those immigrants to easily become official citizens and then use the 85 billion dollars to catch actual violent criminals?

I read the nytimes article. Appreciate the archived version btw.
Yea they're complying as the government is deciding whether they can stay or not. The government has essentially "decided" they will not get residence in the country.
They arbitrarily decided based on what? The guy in the article was showing up to his court case to discuss his asylum claim. He never got the opportunity.

I did the math and showed contributions of illegals vs. the social services consumed by their kids.

What have I just said that is not factually correct?
I remember that time you claimed Koreans don't pay much more for their food costs and then you were surprise Pikachu face when I pointed out that they spend twice as much of their income on food as Americans.
You do realize there are entire countries in the world that import almost all their fruits right? South Korea and many Middle Eastern countries for example imports a huge chunk of their fruits - yea it's a little bit more expensive for fruit and veggies but not ridiculously so.

Some of these people have final orders of deportation BECAUSE they have criminal records.

And why does it have to be only violent crimes? So a person who came in illegally and has multiple DUIs, gets caught with child porn, does fraud, steals money or all the other non-violent crimes shouldn't be deported?

They decided because they determined his asylum claim didn't have any merit and dismissed it. That's literally what these courts are for. To "arbitrarily decide."

And he did get his due process. That's where people like you are being lied to.

If you came in illegally within the last 2 years and claim asylum or got a notice to appear and let out into the country (this happened millions of times by Biden), the government can use something called "expedited removal." That is what's happening here.

Expedited removal IS DUE PROCESS. That's what most people don't understand. It's has literally been the law since 1996 and Obama used expedited removal millions of times.

ICE is snatching random people off the street based on the color of their skin, detaining them for sometimes months -US citizens and legal residents, even- and various other giant dumps right down the throat of our constitution. On the one hand, jerks like you are so fucking drunk on the reflected glory of hurting the absolute lowest class citizens. On the other, you're also thrilled about everyone else being stomped on. None of this has jack squat to do with immigration, it's power fantasy come to life. Decades of simmering, salivating anticipation at the thought of physically controlling other people, and therefore increasing your own social capital as a result.

*Cue generalizing any disagreement as libtards*

Don't forget that the Social Security coffers would be empty right now, if it weren't for illegals who contribute to it and will never draw from it.

In 2022 alone, illegal immigrants had $25 billion, with a b, taken out of their paychecks that they will never be able to claim.

They also indirectly pay property taxes, in addition to everything else you listed, by paying rent.

Something @Hog-train 's outrage porn never mentions. There have been numerous legitimate studies on this and Social Security/Medicare alone has been propped up for decades by illegals. Maybe this wouldn't be needed if Republicans didn't use SS as a slush fund for the past 4 decades.

It boggles my mind that so many seriously unhappy and miserable people think their lives are somehow better by being hateful bigots all day every day. That's all this dude does all day long "I hate brown people. I hate gay people. Trannies are ruining my life. I hate libtards...etc". What a miserable way to live.
