Ian is a slight underdog on sherdog according to this poll, but he’s a slight betting favourite in the sports books. I think this fight is too close to call, neither guy winning would surprise me

Prates was last submitted 17 fights ago, just shy of a decade, and he's on an 11 fight win streak. He's gone 4-0 in the UFC with 4 KO wins.

Garry is a solid point fighter but picking him by submission is frankly absurd.

Fair ig decision is more likely, I was overreacting to him backpacking MVP and much more importantly, Shavkat. He really is a Chute Boxe grappler but yeah not a great finisher with it yet

Curious to see how Prates fares in the later rounds against a guy who’ll likely try to outpoint him. My heart is with Prates, but I think Garry will win.

Regardless of the outcome, Garry deserves respect for jumping right back into the fire against such a hot prospect who’s been on a tear.
