Is it in the rules that you can stop a fight at will to claim that another fighter is greased?

Don't the officials check them right before the fight?

Also, watching him fight just made me think that if you are going to be a one dimensional fighter, be a leg lock specialist.

His performance wasn't exactly a ringing endorsement for that.

I was confused at the ref but glad he did it, clearly that guy shaved his legs and probably used the Mardquart method of bathing his legs in oil a day before the fight.

How many times does it take Perez to punch that pat duffy looking fool in the head for him to let go of the leglock?
Homeboys also fighting out of thailand, you think he would have some form of usefull thai boxing, instead he went ea ufc 2 and spammed tds/leglocks all while complaining to the ref.

I cannot believe that in 2016 we are still seeing stuff like this in the top-level MMA organisations.

Never seen Ian Entwistle before, but the way the commentary team kept saying how good he was at leg-locks, I was worried that we would see a Ryan Hall type performance e.g. diving for legs every second.

Oh, he didn't disappoint did he! The guy literally refused to do anything but dive from half-way across the cage trying to get a heel hook or kneebar, and he wasn't even close.

Once you see you're not going to get it, and you've tried it 11 times, just give it up and try something else. He even had top position on many occasions, but instead of using that sweep as a means of gaining control and winning the round, he instead would drop back and keep looking for the leg.

He got pounded out like a fool, and even tried to accuse Perez of "greasing". Great job from the referee to actually check it "mid-round" I've never seen that before. Great job!

So happy he got whipped. Idiot!

He is the definition of one dimensional. When it didn't work he said he'a greased. Sore loser and unlikable guy. He was whining like a child at the end.

I was more offended by that ass clown Anik who asked Perez if he greased.

Entwistle fell apart as soon as he realized his subs were being escaped.

Dude countered them nicely and punched him upside the head a cpl dozen times while Ian was holding on for dear life on the legs / feet.

it was an example of an idiotic fight IQ
This. I was excited to see what he was gonna do after such a long layoff I figured he would have improved a little. But he might have the worst fight iq I've ever seen. He did the exact same thing against Dan Hooker. He'll probably get cut after that

Well I'm not suggesting that one be a one dimensional fighter, but until he just gave up like a bitch, he had Perez I'm serious danger for almost the whole round...how else can a fighter be such a constant danger?

At the end, it looked like Perez pushed his ankle back into place though
Shiiiiit, it looked like he put both ankles into place, manually straightened each knee on the ground, and then when he stood up, both knees did the "baby deer walking" wobble for a second before stabilizing, and then when he went to walk, he stumbled a little and leaned to his corner for support.

His legs got stretched the fuck out. He didn't look to be in pain, so maybe nothing tore, but his ligaments are sure stretched out. Props to him for toughing it out and getting the win.

That's happened to him in a previous fight also. He held on to the ll while being tko

That shit was hilarious! He was determined to win his way or not at all!
