Thankfully we only need to look at Arman being unable to hold down Gamrot and see that it's very unlikely he'll just bag a ton of control time in a possible fight with Topuria.
That was the best wrestler he's ever fought since Islam, with Ilia being the next best thing given his background albeit more untested since he's leaned on his boxing for the most part.
It's a good matchup for Topuria however, Arman has gotten hurt before (OAM, Silva fight) and Ilia has already shown he just needs one opening to end the fight. Not to take anything away from Tsarukyan but he'd be the rightful underdog in that match. At the end of the day Ilia has done a whole lot more.
