If you want to be a butch woman then go for it. No one cares. It's when the left literally change the definitions of words and make how you identify more important than your sex and even conflate them that screws everything up.

I also don't think they want to necessarily change the definition of a woman. It's just one of those nuanced terms that they want to add onto the definition. I see no reason why that cannot be accommodated to include trans individuals, all things considered. And that's why the Supreme Court nominee didn't answer that question. The right will mock her and people that literally didn't graduate high school and work at Walmart will tell you she's an idiot when she's likely twenty times smarter than they are. She just understands that with how we've grown in terms of sociology, that question is extremely nuanced.

The word woman is not nuanced. It's just been co-opted by extremists. Normal people use the word woman correctly in their daily lives all the time. They will even give you the definition of the word. The left can not even define it because no definition makes sense in their convoluted ideology. The word woman is meaningless to them. Politicians won't answer the question because of the repercussions.

The reserved space thing is a tough one. While I would have zero problem with using the restroom with a Tran Man... There was a case that made national news where I live where a trans woman who worked at a pool was showering in the womens locker room around little girls. This upsets me greatly and I'm be beside myself if that was my child. But maybe that's just my own underlying prejudices coming out. Either way, I see why women would feel uncomfortable and I do not have the answer. I'm not sure anyone does right now. I think how we move forward is through conversations like this one.
