He loves to stand and bang no doubt but beating Conor means a lot and no doubt Nate and his team knows he can beat Conor easily on the ground...So yes I expect a BJJ Diaz by submission, possibly by RNC...

I personally see Nate frustrating Conor on the feet and then overwhelming him in the 2nd via Stockton slap.

How is he going to get him to the ground though?

I will forever be a Nate Diaz fan if he beats him up standing, and does a Stockton slap.

Maybe not, but Nate is no wrestler.
I am no BJJ expert but I have no doubt ıf have a black belt from Gracie you know something about taking down your opponent but Nate is no GSP for sure...

I'm so freakin excited about this fight I can't even think straight about Nate's chances.
But yeah,I don't think they are that slim as some people think.

Conor needs to win it on the feet because if it goes the the ground Conor is in big trouble.

I just looked it up, Nate has a 31% TD success rate. For what that's worth.

It will come down to who is better standing. We might not even see the ground unless the fight is ending there because of a knock down. If conor can't KO him early nate might overwhelm him. I see conor landing that left and its Lights out.

It'll definitely be a task to get a 170 pound Mcgregor down - he'll be pretty stocky in there but I feel if Nate can get him down just one time Conor is in trouble

Nate does have some decent sweeps and trips against the fence but this will be a stand up fight. The question is will Nate let Conor dictate the pace and let Conor pressure him. Both are also southpaws so that's interesting as well. Nate really needs to use his reach in this fight and hit conor right on the end of his punches and not to over extend or he will be countered. Nate needs to land the 1-2 and dip to his right to avoid that straight left of Conor.

This. Like only wrestlers get fighters to the ground. Also he could stung the dude and take advantage, its MMA ffs.

Nate is crafty especially in the clinch, here he is taking Maynard down who we all know is no chump when it comes to grappling.

Nate has the ability to transition take downs ( as well as being taken down ) into submissions and a better scramble than Conor.
