UFC wins either way bud. They put themselves in these win win positions all the time.

Jones wins, he becomes a two division champ, continues to headline PPVs as one of the bigger stars in the company.

Gane wins, he defeats one of the greatest fighters of all time, UFC gets a relatively young champion, company man who isn't hard to negotiate with, and is from an emerging new market for UFC (France) which just had its first event recently.

They come out just fine either way.

I don't think Jones has much of a chance, given his ring rust and lack of HW experience. Gane is also one of the most skilled UFC heavyweights we've seen.

But I also don't see Jones getting stopped. Gane isn't very aggressive or powerful. Jones might win a round or two if he gets Gane to the ground.
