I find that Anik works better as part of a 3 man booth. He's good at just naming stats and reading out plugs, but he has so little charisma.

Yeah, I would say Jimmy Smith is great as an add on to someone with a better personality like Rogan, or DC. Really for it to be legit Rogan needs to be there though.

What's up with Joe? Afraid to travel?

I listen to his podcast fairly frequently.
It basically comes down to this, "I don't have to, so I'm not going to"
He likes to travel and do weekend gigs, then back to the family and the things in his life that he enjoys. (BJJ, Podcast, Hunting, etc)
Trying to do a weekend turn around from the other side of the world takes too much out of him.....so he told the UFC he wasn't doing those shows.
