Sorry for your loss man, thats terrible.
Well at least you have somewhat of an explanation. That will help with the healing process.Well, I heard from the medical examiner a little while ago & he said her death was the result of a blood clot that originated in her abdomen that caused a massive coronary. When I asked him if it could have been the result of her battle with COVID last year he said that it's definitely possible due to the clotting issues that COVID can cause in young people. So, even though I don't have direct proof of it, I'm considering her death to be another one caused by the virus. It's the only thing that makes sense to me. Why else would she have a blood clot at her young age? She wasn't obese, she followed a strict diet, & she was deemed at her last doctor's visit a couple of months ago. But still, this happened.
So, please. Take care of yourselves people. Wear a mask, socially distance & get the vaccine when you're able. Please do what you can to avoid getting COVID because it's a very dangerous virus that can affect you long after you've recovered from it. Peace.

I have to say I can't stop thinking about you and your wife.
I think that maybe it's hitting the forum so hard because you gave us all hope. No matter what kind of relationship troubles or loneliness we were feeling, we could look to your example to see that it IS possible to be in a happy marriage. Even if your previous ones were bad.
And the way you spoke of her so frequently and positively on here actually made us love her vicariously through you.
Which is why so many of us felt like we got punched in the gut when we saw this thread.
I will say that even though she's gone now, the hope you two gave to many of the posters here still remains.
I know it still makes me smile to think about the possibility that one day I might have a relationship as good as yours. And if you told me it would all end after a few short years, I'd still take it. Because it's better than what I have now.
Thank you both for that gift.
Thanks for that, bro. Really. It touches me that our marriage was an inspiration to others. I never realized that it was to so many people here.Well at least you have somewhat of an explanation. That will help with the healing process.

Well, there's a neighbor couple that lives across the street who check up on me occasionally but other than that I'm on my own. That is until my son, Nigel comes to stay with me for a bit. Which I hope will be soon.

Did she get the vaccine? Or were you guys on the waiting list and yet to get it? Your posting leads me to believe you were yet to receive it?
Awful situation. Sorry man.
Jesus. She's gone. She passed away in her sleep for no apparent reason in the wee hours of the morning & I'm in total shock. I'm completely & utterly devastated. And I hurt so bad that it's even painful to breathe. Fuck, I don't even want to draw my next breath without her.
I'm posting here as a means to vent & to reach out because I'm totally alone here in Arizona. I've reached out to family, of course, but I still haven't notified her friends via phone or Facebook yet because I just can't face crying anymore. But I still need to distract myself from the emptiness & silence of this house. So, I've got the television on loud & I'm composing this as my heart lies shattered in my chest.
God, I loved her so much, guys. I mean, I think it was pretty obvious by how much I mentioned her & posted about her here. But you'd have to multiply that many times over to grasp how much I really loved her. And now, she's gone.
I won't know what happened to her until sometime Monday. Right now, I haven't got a clue. She was so young & so fit other than a couple of lingering issues from her tough battle with COVID last summer. She still experienced bouts of fatigue & she occasionally got a rattle in her lungs that she never dealt with before COVID. But other than that her doctor said she was in excellent health. None of this makes sense.
As I sit here alone all I can think of is how much I wish I had held her & told her I loved her even more often than I did. So, please, everyone. Take advantage of every moment that you can with your loved ones & be sure that you let them know how much you love them because time can be so damned short.
Rest in peace, my beloved wife, Jana. You were my life, baby & I don't want to go on without you.

Thanks for that, bro. Really. It touches me that our marriage was an inspiration to others. I never realized that it was to so many people here.
