Alex is fucking huge. I’m 6’4” and he’s atleast as big as me, really don’t know how he makes 185 lol.
One guy from Pereira’s team was filming the whole photo-moment with Alex and all the fans in attendance for GLORY 83 and it’s on Pereira’s Instagram.
Right here in these crowdshots you see Pereira and me standing close to each other and you realize how big he is.
Remember I “dwarfed” LHW Volkan Oezdemir

When the guards were about to open the gate for Pereira, it was like they were going to unleash a lion lol<45>
Ironically enough once the gate opened Pereira seemed to choose me and walked straight at me, so I was the first one out of all these people to make a pic hahah, ask @TacticalTijs

I have the same problem! Only differences are instead of fighters, it is homeless people... and instead of wanting a picture with me, they want my change. Pretty much the same thing though. Working in the Bronx is a thrill!

To be honest, we did meet quite some other fighters and they were all really nice talking to. The problem with Pereira is that he is maybe a bit too popular and he does not speak a word of English, so there’s no reason not to back away after a photo

My friend @BoxerMaurits invited me to join him to GLORY83 after I also visited GLORY81. After the fights, we were lucky enough to get a picture with Alex Pereira! It’s not the best picture, but hey, it’s something Maurits suggested I should join this forum, so hello everyone!

Speaking about Plazibat, did you see GLORY’s announcement about doing a Heavyweight Grand Prix at the end of this year, with the first qualification tournament taking place on April 29 (with the winner also facing Antonio Plazibat for the GLORY heavyweight interim-belt on June 17 because of Rico Verhoeven’s injury)?

Yeah they’re the best man. I went to 12 events, am about to make it 13 with UFC London next month, and can’t get enough of it.
This heavyweight Grand Prix (and all the qualifier tournaments leading up to it) GLORY will be organizing should be really fun!
