I hope you haters are happy with these boring champs that won't fight in the next weight class.

Who are these boring champs you speak of? Werdum, Cormier, Rockhold, Lawler, Johnson, Cruz...all boring fighters? I think they all have as exciting fights as Connor with maybe the exception of Cruz. The only difference is that they prefer to defend their belts instead of moving around different weightclasses, how is that boring? what gets boring is Connors endless bullshit and his fans thinking he's the second coming of Jesus. IMO real MMA-fans don't fall for the sort of hype that surrounded Connor.
Cormier isn't the real champ. Johnson and Cruz are both boring. Luke Rockhold shouldn't give Chris a instant rematch. That fight was not even close for fucks sake. Werdum chicken out and pull out of a title fight. Did Conor pull the same bullshit as Werdum? That's why I'm bitter that Conor lost. He's exciting and I really wish we had more champions like him that take risks and not make the sport fucking boring.

Conor was making the sport exciting and interesting. I respect that he had risk it all. We won't see a champ like this in a very, very long time.

But you haters got what you want, and now the sport is boring again with champs not wanting to take risks. At least we still have Lawler.

You know what? I think Conor made Anderson Silva look petty for wanting a Super fight with a guy in a lighter weight class.

Conor is a 155'er screwing up his body to fight 145'ers he fought someone who he thought would be an easy fight he's taken no risks and has been protected his whole UFC career. Go cry some one Plastic.

Oh, shut up. FW was never his real weight class. He just wanted to dodge opponents who were not smaller than him. Diaz and Conor might not be same height, but they are same size. Conor was fighting at his natural weight class and lost.

Except 145 never was Conor's natural division and he just went there to fight smaller people and brag about how much bigger he was.

Diaz bros starve themselves to fight smaller and shorter opponents, so they can have that reach avantage with thier high volume boxing. They can pack more muscle on thier frames in they wanted too.

It sure worked last night.

Are you trying to shame people who are not Conor fans? Lol. He lost, this is a sport, get over it. Also, the Brock/Anderson/Penn/GSP era was the most exciting in the sport's history, MMA will be fine man, trust me.

First there were TUF noobs, then there were the wrestling fanboys who came over with Brock and now we have the McGregor mob. I've heard it before and will hear it again and whilst you are masturbating alone to audio of Conors old interviews with a bad gorilla drawn on your chest in sharpie, I will be watching MMA, which never was and never will be, boring.

Stay mad, scrub.

And that's why they usually lose when they fight someone the same size or bigger. They are not as good as you think. Just size. They will get thier ass handed to them in thier natural weight classes.

Well you sound bitter.
Did you forget that he still is the champion of his division?
You sound like an abhorrent fan.

Whatever helps you work it out.

I like champions defending their belt and cleaning out their division before moving up. But maybe that's just me. And frankly, moving up is almost never going to work out for champs. We have weight classes for a reason, and that reason was exemplified last night. Conor just put a big stop sign on building his legacy.

You're acting like if the sport of MMA never had dry spells in terms of entertainment. Get the fuck out of here with your elitist bullshit. I been watching MMA since 2002.

When was the dry spell homeboy? I think you put too much weight into the characters of the fighters. Now whilst I enjoy the spectacle and pageantry as much as the next man, I primarily watch the sport for just that, the sport.

Again, I want to know when there was an 'entertainment dry spell'.

Come on. You sound so bitter and delusional. Anderson Silva scored a couple of wins at LHW. Also, he was annihilating title contenders at MW. BJ Penn was another guy who went up in weight. He did so after battering LW title contenders. McGregor has no UFC title defences. McGregor has no UFC wins at LW or WW. McGregor's results are nothing special. He just talks more, and he got his mouth shut and humbled tonight. JUST ANOTHER FLASH IN THE PAN.

Nah, I'm just saying that the haters should of been rooting for him, since he has balls.
Nate has balls, too, he took the fight on two weeks notice and they're both fighters. How can you tell other people who they should root for?

Oh no! Now champions won't refuse to defend their belt so they could pretend to be heros and take fights against mid level guys a weight class above and get raped and then blame it all on the weight! How sad...
