I hope you haters are happy with these boring champs that won't fight in the next weight class.

Conor was making the sport exciting and interesting. I respect that he had risk it all. We won't see a champ like this in a very, very long time.

But you haters got what you want, and now the sport is boring again with champs not wanting to take risks. At least we still have Lawler.

You know what? I think Conor made Anderson Silva look petty for wanting a Super fight with a guy in a lighter weight class.
We still have a champ like that .... Conor,

Most of us who've been watching this sport for a long time enjoyed it before McGregor.

We'll enjoy it well after he's gone.

And yet he sold more ppvs than anyone else...

God only knows why.

But the fabric of the MMA fan is changing.

If GSP decides to come back and be a smothering jab fucker again, it will likely not be well-received.

WW has been infinitely more exciting in his absence and Conor has shown the kind of courage we all wish GSP had in his fight style and career choices.

Rest assured, a GSP comeback will sell tons, but the fans will likely boo him if he pulls his usual conservative shit.

Then again... This is nothing new for him since he was even booed in Toronto after the Shields fight.

Your thread is filled with your own ass pain. I think I might've felt the way you do when Bush got re-elected, Idunno. I didn't have a crush on John Kerry, though.
I don't base much on my identity as a sherdogger. Have you thought about your new identity as a fanboy of someone who isn't Jesus 2.0?

My joke about giving Sherdoggers a bad name (just for the slow folks to be in on the joke) was a reference to Edwin Dewees (he fought in the UFC in ancient times) who said "He gives cagefighters a bad name"
You can figure out the rest of the joke from there (probably not, but whatever).

I still think you should take a break from here. Maybe go have a Guinness or watch some old McGoat interviews.
Whatever... At least I still have Donald Trump.

GO WATCH MAN DRAMA ON THE WWE NETWORK.

GO watch your soap operas at lunch time.

Just admit you love drama and move on, you goof.

What has changed with this loss? Conor moved up and provided us with a great fight, taking on a tough challenge where he had more to lose than to win. He is still a great and exciting fighter who people will tune in to watch. I rooted for Diaz, but both fighters deserve a lot of respect.

Wait you mean different people have different ideas of what is entertainment?

Here's a hint, people watched GSP because he was so insanely dominant and would shut guys down who were among the best in the world.
As far as jabfest, I thought it was lay and pray for GSP. Can't make up your mind?

Go watch your gay porn. Just admit you love man on man action. You been in the closet long enough.

The lady, or rather the dandy, doth protest too much.

Wonder why you self insert gay porn in there. Must be something you're projecting.

Hey it's a free country. Go ahead and enjoy yourself champ. I'm sure you'll be back dick riding Conor soon enough.

As if Conor was the only one willing to do that....

He was the only one allowed to do that.

Good comeback

Other than BJ Penn, this is bullshit. You only had Anderson Silva wanting to fight a super fight at a lighter weight class.

The guy got the balls, he aint got the skils! Live with it! At 155 it would be a greater murder! Dont cry! Your boy it's just what Nick Diaz said. He found a way to cut weight and beat smaller guys. In his natural division he is just a punk! Face it!

Do the Diaz bros even fight in thier natural weight classes? They are both 6 feet tall and usually only have success against smaller, shorter fighters.

There isn't much historical precedence for anyone moving up and winning against top comp.
It would have been special to move up and dominate a higher weight class, but in general people move down not up.

How old are you?

Who are these boring champs you speak of? Werdum, Cormier, Rockhold, Lawler, Johnson, Cruz...all boring fighters? I think they all have as exciting fights as Connor with maybe the exception of Cruz. The only difference is that they prefer to defend their belts instead of moving around different weightclasses, how is that boring? what gets boring is Connors endless bullshit and his fans thinking he's the second coming of Jesus. IMO real MMA-fans don't fall for the sort of hype that surrounded Connor.
