I would have concurred with you IF HE WOULD HAVE DEFENDED HIS BELT! Guys like Jon Jones or GSP etc... should have tried the bigger divisions but they did not. With Jones there is still a chance but it is utter bullshit if a fighter wins the title with one fluke punch and immediately is granted a new title fight one weight class up where there is a line of challengers waiting not to mention in his division he has not faced anybody other than Aldo really. Even Mendez had only two weeks to prepare and still he dominated Conor until he ran out of gas.
