Thick quads and small calves. What do you guys think about that? Calves are overrated?
Calves are the biceps of the legs. Quads are hidden in shorts unless you dress like a native San Franciscan.
I’m taking aesthetics....Not functionality. When you wear a shirt big biceps get the attention. When you wear shorts it’s the calves. The hamstring is the bicep of the leg
The quad is the tricep
In terms of functionality those are the closest analogues
I do as well I reckon; my calves arent big but ok enough.

Barely disguised OP wants to jack it to men's legs thread. Kinda ghey.

Moreso, if you don't have genetics for big calves, no training will make them big, period. Even Mr. Olympia level pro bodybuilders struggle with that.I think it's one of those things that men who exercise will notice more than anyone else. Women and other people who aren't into lifting won't notice. And as far as for athletic ability it doesn't really help much. If you only care about athletic function, just run and skip rope, if you have genetics for big calves they will get big just from that, if you don't then they won't but so what?
