Not a hater by any means, always root for Jones. For me I said he'd never fight Francis and thought as long as he was champ he would stay retired but if an opportunity arose where he could fight somebody like Stipe for the belt he wpuld take it. I saw it as a GSP vs Bisping sort of thing and I still do. Stipe was his first choice imo and that's who he wants now. Gane with his lack of wrestling was the 2nd best choice.
I don't think Jones will ever fight Blaydes, Pavlovich or Ngannou and I don't think he would have returned while Ngannou was champ. Not blaming him either, why should he? Speculating doesn't make somebody a hater, people saying Jones would get his ass kicked at Heavyweight, is a weight bully etc.. are haters.
I like his chances against anyone at Heavyweight but I think there are a few guys he would not accept a fight with and that's not hating at all. He's at a point in his career where he doesn't really need to prove anything. People are chomping at the bit to see him lose, hell people on here were pissed at Anthony Smith for not taking the DQ...
If he fights a Francis Ngannou or a Pavlovich even there is a chance he gets ko'd and the haters would have an absolute field day making memes anf shoops out of it. Anytime anybody mentioned Jon Jones people would post a meme of him ko'd, even like 10 years later.
With Gane he has tko power at best and shitty wrestling so out of any of the top guys at HW Gane had the least chance of making that happen imo.
