The guy’s definitely not the smartest, that’s for sure. But he goes out there saying Dana’s lying when he says the fight fell because he couldn’t make weight.
Calling out your boss publicly is already dumb, but accusing him of lying when you’re actually the liar would just be drooling-on-yourself stupid.

So I’m assuming Arman really did get injured. And no, the little stunts he pulled with Nina had nothing to do with it.
And he didn’t chicken out either. You don’t accept a short-notice fight against Islam if you’re scared of him.

IMHO it’s perfectly normal not to want to step into the cage injured for the biggest, most defining fight of your career.
People get hurt, they don’t choose the timing. Getting injured right before your title fight isn’t punishment enough?
And wasn’t making weight as the backup for Ilia vs Charles already enough?

Gave us Moicano vs Islam and backed up LW even further. He was 1 weigh in away from us only having Gaethje and Paddy in line. I don't think it's really a horrible punishment to have 1 more fight again before retrying.

Pretty sure it was a weight miss getting too big in prep with Islam. But even if you believe fighters only tell the truth and it was an injury, he was a day away, and injured himself. Probably wouldn't of been punished if he pulled out normal injury time.

He doesn't deserve to get punished for the Islam fight, shit happens. He deserves to get punished for bragging about the DDP vs Chimaev fight.

Yes I agree. I don't think he should have been punished for this one infraction. It was the fight that everyone wanted to see. Now, Arman vs. Ilia is the fight but one of them is ducking it 🤔
